Immigration Bond Support Referral

This is the National Bail Fund Network form to request a referral to an immigration bond fund for support for someone held in an ICE detention facility within the United States. The National Bail Fund Network is a project of the Community Justice Exchange, connecting over 90 community bail and bond funds who post both criminal bail and immigration bonds. Please only complete this form if an immigration bond has been set and you know the amount of the bond. Please only complete this form once. If you have a bond order, please email it to referral@communityjusticeexchange.org.

Once this form is received, the Immigration Bond Coordinator will work with our partner bond funds to try and secure the bond assistance you have requested.  Unfortunately given the high need for bond support, bond funds often do not have enough resources to meet the need. We will reach out if we have further questions or have found a bond fund that can provide support. We received requests for over $8 million of bond support in 2022. We work hard to find support for as many people as possible and will do our best.

Information you should have on hand before filling out this form:

  • The A Number of the person who needs bond assistance. The A number is a 9 digit number that ICE gives every person who is in an ICE facility.

  • The name of the detention facility where you believe the person is being held.  This information can be found here if you know the person’s A number and Country of Origin. You can find a list of DHS detention facilities here.

  • The address where the person will be living in the US and a local US phone number

Please complete the rest of the form to the best of your abilities, and write N/A where you do not have information.  All information you include will be kept confidential among the Community Justice Exchange, the National Bail Fund Network, and our partner organizations.
